Question 4 of 8

Let's look at EI & sales. What's the correlation there? Guess how much ROI Sanofi-Aventis company (with over 105,000 employees across the globe) got as a result of Genos EI training and what was the sales performance difference between the group trained in EI vs. the control group that didn't receive the training?

A

Sanofi-Aventis saw a 1% increase in regional sales by the sales reps & managers trained in EI, which translated into $2 of ROI on $1 spent on training.

B

Sanofi-Aventis didn't see any change in sales = there was no correlation between how emotionally intelligent sales people are and how much they can sell (= their performance)

C

Sanofi-Aventis saw 13% increase in regional sales by the sales reps & managers trained in EI (their EI improved around 18% as a result of the training) compared to those who were not trained, and that translated into a $6 return on every $1 invested. This shows a positive correlation between improved emotional intelligence and sales.
